Nearby towns were fun to visit by car... Castiglione del Lago - 1909 Barbini is a great little restaurant, ceramics by Stefania are beautiful... Macchie for pizza at The Pelican, went to the Truffle Festival in Fabro - fun! A bit further away, Deruta has outstanding ceramics, Oriveto's duomo/cathedral is breath-taking, Montefalco and Bevagna are fun too. Drove even further away this trip, to eastern Umbria
and the towns of Norcia and Castelluccio - both great to visit and experience!!!!
