"IL PODESTA'" is a 14th century town housein Panicale with a lovely balcony overlooking picturesque medieval streets and rolling countryside.The perfect place to relax and sit outside with a good italian wine!The apartment derives its name from being situated in the same piazza as the 14th century Palazzo del Podesta, the ancient seat of the rulers of Panicale.The restoration of the apartment was completed in April 2002, using local artisans, iron-smiths, and stonemasons, it has been lovingly restored with great attention to preserving its authenticity and charm, while it also offers all the modern conveniences. The Podesta' is owned by Aldo & Daniela Gallo, the owners of Panicale's very popular Bar Gallo.
Accommodating up to max 4 people, and nestled against the Etruscan walls surrounding the village (dating from the second century BC), it is moments away from the central piazza. All amenities, including grocery stores, backery, bars, restaurants, cafès, Bank with ATM, movie theatre, churches and museums are within a two to three minute walking distance.

We are Simone and Lorena and we own IL PODESTA' apartment located in the upoper part of our delightful medieval village of Panicale. We are happy to welcome all our guests and invite them to our Osteria located in the main Piazza of Panicale. We'll be delighted to present you our special plates: tagliatelle con ragù, tagliata, riso con funghi porcini and more other......!!
